Jamil Hooper currently serves as an Associate Director of Career Services at The University of Texas Austin. He has dedicated 15 years of his career to empowering young professionals through 1x1 coaching, providing professional development training, and facilitating career exploration programming. At UT, he founded The Career City Limit Speaker Series which connects industry leaders with undergraduate & graduate students.
Previously, he served as Career Services Advisor at the Art Institute of Austin and Escoffier School of Culinary Arts where he led externship programs, crafted employment strategies, and hosted major recruiting events. Additional experience includes his time at Dell Inc. providing technology solutions and business development for consumer clients and small & medium businesses.
